The hotel staff and our local production team, treated them all like lepers. At first they asked if they could be extras after a few days they just asked for money. I can’t tell you how many times some guy would come to us and say: “do you know me? I am famous in America.” Later, on here and watching some videos, I recalled so many of their faces. At the time I had never seen a Hungarian porno or hear of the Czech studio Bel Ami (thank you, QMN) but these guys seem to hang around our hotel because, we were imformed by the staff, they knew a Hollywood movie was being made. The movie basically depicts the desperate, uneducated, poor guys that get snarred into the porn industry in Prague but I met guys that did this in Budapest as well. I saw it a few months ago in Amsterdam after I had just finished working for many months in Budapest. It’s a Danish film by a Finnish director and although it’s not very well made, it’s worth seeing.
